The BBC 555ci Wheeler Competition Series Drag Race Crate is the BIG step in the evolution of high horsepower. High compression and CNC'd aluminum heads make this power plant the superior level of horsepower and torque! It comes internally balanced, assembled, dyno tested and tuned. This engine comes complete with all the quality components you would expect in a Wheeler Race Crate: forged premium dome pistons, aluminum CNC'd Pro-Filer heads, and an aggressive solid roller cam grind all professionally prepared, machined, balanced and assembled for the ultimate performance experience. The stroke in this engine provides a very broad power band making this combo very popular with all Sportsman racers, and pounding performance at a competitive price!

All Wheeler engines are hand built-to-order per application. Please allow for a 4-6 week build time.

Block:
- New Dart Big "M" 4-Bolt 9.8" deck height Block.
- Magnafluxed and clearanced.
- Fully Blueprinted.
- Line honed mains on Sunnen CH100 Line Hone.
- Decked with BHJ Fixture.
- Cylinders bored perpendicular to crank.
- Finish honed with Sunnen CV 616 & torque plates with 820 Sunnen stones for moly rings.
- Each block comes with brass freeze plugs, one-piece cam bearings, new dowels, galley plugs and ARP main studs.

Rotating Assembly:
- Wheeler 4340 Forged H-Beam 6.535" Rods with ARP Bolts.
- Forged Aluminum Dome Pistons(manufacturers vary depending on availability).
- Wheeler 4340 Forged 4.25" Stroke Crankshaft (Internally Balanced).
- Akerly & Childs Moly Race Rings.
- H Series Hi-Performance Rod & Main Bearings.
- Fully Balanced to Within ½ of 1 Gram.

Camshaft/Timing:
- Solid Roller Camshaft.
- 9 Keyway Dbl. Rlr. 3-Piece Timing Set.
- Camshaft Is Degreed And Secured With A Cam Button and Retainer Plate.

Sheetmetal/Balancer/Flexplate:
- New Timing Cover.

QC/Shipping:
- Engine Is Sealed with A Jaz Kit.
- New Oil Filter Is Installed (Dry).
- Engine Is Given A Thorough Inspection and Detailed.
