Original California Car, ONLY 1 OF 1626 Dart GT Convertibles Built in 1967! Grand Spaulding Dodge did not attempt to covert a small block car to a 440 until the 1968 model year, but if Mr. Norm had swapped a 440 into a 1967, this is what the car would look like. Similar to the original 50 GSS conversions in 1968, this original California car was converted to legendary Mr. Norm - Grand Spaulding Dodge (GSS) standards with a 1968 Dodge RT date coded 440 Engine. Just like they did in 1968, in order to fit the larger engine, the K member was modified to make room for the oil pan, a modified engine mount was attached near the oil pump, and the battery was relocated to the trunk. All of of the cars in 1968 were built with the Torqueflite automatic transmission and this car is no exception. Other performance upgrades include the Aluminum Radiator, Super Stock Leaf Springs, 8 3/4 Rear End, 3.91 Gear, Front Torsion Bar, Front Disc Brakes, 10 Inch Rear Drum Brakes, Brake Proportioning Valve, Complete 440 Exhaust from Manifolds to Stainless Tips, Factory Buckets and Console, Power Haartz Convertible Top, Redline Radial Tires, The Car Runs and Drives Great with Tons of Power!
