This is an extremely dry original southern California car built in Van Nuys and spent its entire life in the Los Angeles area. No rust anywhere, including anywhere on the tailgate hinges and channel. All metal is solid and the body is straight and all panels, doors, hood and tailgate shut solid. It runs smooth, brakes well, and doesn’t overheat. The front suspension needs an alignment and new bushings, but it still drives nicely regardless. The windshield wipers, radio and clock don’t work and there are a couple small rattles and squeaks, but overall, this is a very well preserved, stock first generation El Camino.
